Online opportunity abounds - globally!
Globally, the world is in financial turmoil. So many people have lost their jobs, others have been downsized and had to take pay cuts. And there does not seem to be much more opportunity for getting traditional jobs, so easily anymore.
What is emerging however in this technological revolution that the world is experiencing is the biggest global market for jobs and opportunity to work from home - online.
There are jobs to be had - data entry operators, writers, virtual assistants to name just a few.
There are also many business opportunities being flaunted all over the net. Unfortunately, many of them end up being scams. Many people have ended up loosing a lot of money through these unscrupulous sites which con people out of their money.
However, there are also quite a few business opportunities out there that really deliver what they offer. Affiliate marketing is one such business and I have found that some will promise you things for free but when you go to sign on the dotted line --- so to speak -- the rules change and you get a money back guarantee or some such statement to let you know that you have been conned into wasting a lot of time reading something that you were told was free.
I have learnt the hard way, that this happens more often than not -- so now I am a bit smarter and go all the way down to the bottom of the page and check out whether or not the opportunity really is free or not.
Luckily, there are some honest sites out there, and I have joined one of them. It was free to join, gives me free internet training and support, free websites and free gateways. The amount of free knowledge that is imparted through this site is mind-boggling - if I were to obtain that knowledge through a University I would have to pay in the thousands of dollars.
My affiliate business is linked up with a many global stores selling their wares collectively through one main site, so I don't even have to have my own inventory but I can sell all that is already available through the main site as well as find new stores that want to sell through this same medium. And............I get paid for it with a residual and leveraged kind of income. I'm on my way to make my fortune.............. Dream - Believe- Strive-Achieve and have an awesome day!

Here is a great site that anyone can join and that too for Free. It is called IBOToolbox. IBOToolbox is a Pandora's box of useful stuff for business owners. It is a very friendly site and a fantastic social networking site for business people.
IBOtoolbox also gives you a lot of Free tools to help you further and best of all it allows you to list all your businesses for Free. You are also given Free credits for doing various jobs and with those you are allowed to advertise the sites you want.
It is linked to all social networks so the exposure to your ads is huge.:)

Phew! Life is hard, is'nt it - sometimes one just not know which direction to take. But luckily, these day there is an opportunity to work from home - be it in your own business or a job which pays.I used to work with an academic research company. The money was okay, but, the deadlines and the other stresses involved became too much for me. I guess it really matters at where you are in life. As an older person - I don't have the commitments and the other stresses and constraints that go with being a young wife and mother.
So really whether you are out looking for a job or trying to build a business depends on how you see your current situation. I found a lot of scams out there, but, the company I am with now is an ace in its field and has been going strong for over 14 years.

The internet training itself is second to none. To get such a training from a University one would spend thousands of dollars but they give it to you for free. You can build your business without any money outlay - slowly and steadily, one step at a time. Or you can choose do it as I am doing it - with a minimum outlay for tools which are helping me to build my business:)
